We’ve Launched a Smarter Multi-Insurer Quote Form for 2026

June 2026 · 247 Expat Insurance

We have rebuilt the quote experience on 247expatinsurance.com. From this week, every product line — health, car, home, travel, motorbike and reverse mortgage — is served by a single, smarter quote form that routes you to the right flow the moment you tell us what you need. No more hunting through the site for the correct page, no more half-filled forms abandoned because the next step asked for something unexpected, and no more switching between Spanish and English mid-journey.

This is the biggest change we have made to the website in 2026, and it is the change clients have asked for most often. Below is what is new, why it is better, and what happens after you click submit.

One form, six product lines

Until now, a client wanting quotes across more than one cover type effectively had to begin a fresh journey for each product. If you came to us for private health insurance and then decided to add car cover during the same conversation, that meant a separate form on a separate page, with overlapping details to re-enter. It worked, but it added friction, and friction is the enemy of getting clients properly insured before their move.

The new quote form solves that with a clean opening question: which type of cover are you looking for? Choose one of the six product tiles — Health, Car, Home, Travel, Motorbike or Reverse Mortgage — and the form automatically reconfigures to ask only the questions that matter for that product. If you need quotes across two or three product lines, you can come back through the same front door, and your details flow through without the duplication that used to slow things down.

English from start to finish

One of the most common pieces of feedback we receive from clients new to Spain is how disorienting it is to begin a quote in English and then land on an insurer’s underwriting screen in Spanish. We have built the new form so that the journey stays in English from the first click to the moment a broker picks up your file. Question wording, validation messages, error states, the lot. If you prefer to call halfway through, our team continues the conversation in English from wherever you left off.

That matters most on the products where the questions are technical. Health declarations, vehicle specifications, property details for a home policy and the financial criteria around a reverse mortgage all rely on precise answers. Getting those answers in your own language is the difference between an accurate quote and a quote that needs to be redone before contracting.

Multi-insurer comparison, working in the background

The other change worth flagging is what happens once you submit. The new form does not return a single quote from a single insurer. Where we hold appointments with more than one underwriter for a given product line, the form runs your details against each of them in the background and we compare the results before coming back to you. For health cover that means a side-by-side view of Sanitas and Caser at the price points and excess levels that suit your profile.

This is something we have always done by hand for clients who asked for it. The difference now is that it happens by default for everyone, so you do not have to know to request it. You get the benefit of multi-insurer comparison without having to manage the process yourself, and without having to fill in a separate form for each insurer.

Why a broker still reviews every result

It would be easy to send the cheapest result straight back to the client and let them click through to contract. We have deliberately not built it that way. Every quote produced by the new form passes through a broker before it is presented to you. That review step exists because price is rarely the whole story on an expat policy.

A motor quote that looks cheap on paper may be priced off a Spanish driving history the client does not yet have. A health quote that looks competitive may not include the chronic-condition waiting periods that matter for a particular household. A travel policy aimed at short-stay tourists is the wrong product for a UK resident spending several months a year in their Spanish second home. The broker review catches those mismatches before you contract, not after.

It also means you have a named person to talk to. If you want to flex an excess, add a named driver, change the start date or move from a family policy to individuals, that conversation happens with a human who already has your file open.

A small but useful detail for motorbike and reverse mortgage

One refinement worth mentioning for clients arriving via specific landing pages: for our motorbike and reverse mortgage products, the relevant tile is auto-selected behind the scenes. If you reach the quote form from a motorbike content page, the form opens already configured for motorbike cover. The same applies to reverse mortgage. It is a small touch, but it removes a click from journeys where the client has already told us, by their browsing, what they need.

What to do next

If you are already a client, nothing changes about your existing policies or renewals. The new form is for anyone starting a fresh quote, adding a new product line to an existing arrangement, or comparing what they currently hold against the wider market. We would encourage clients to use it at renewal too, particularly on health and motor, where the multi-insurer comparison is most valuable.

If you are new to 247 Expat Insurance, the new quote form is the fastest way to see what cover looks like for your circumstances. You will speak to an English-speaking broker about the result before anything is contracted, and that conversation is free of charge whether or not you go ahead.
