Neil Peter Osborne is authorised and registered as an insurance distributor with the Dirección General de Seguros y Fondos de Pensiones (DGSFP) under clave C0031Y0339267P, and operates in accordance with applicable Spanish insurance-distribution law, specifically:
Our registration can be verified at the public register of the Dirección General de Seguros y Fondos de Pensiones (DGSFP): www.dgsfp.mineco.gob.es.
We distribute insurance products on behalf of registered Spanish insurers, including Caser (part of the Helvetia Group) as our principal insurance partner. Where appropriate for clients' needs, we may also distribute products from other DGSFP-registered Spanish insurers across the lines of business we cover.
247 Expat Insurance complies with the professional civil liability insurance, capital adequacy and financial guarantee requirements applicable to insurance distributors under Royal Decree-Law 3/2020 and the implementing regulations.
Where the distribution activity is fully covered by the principal insurer (for example under an agency arrangement with Caser), professional indemnity cover is provided by the relevant insurer in accordance with Article 26 of Royal Decree-Law 3/2020. Where additional cover is appropriate, 247 Expat Insurance maintains it independently. Details of the current arrangements can be requested in writing at info@247expatinsurance.com.
Clients therefore benefit from the financial strength and regulatory compliance of the underlying insurer for any policy they take out through us.
The insurance contracts arranged through this website are issued by DGSFP-authorised Spanish insurers. Our principal insurance partner is:

The purpose of this website is to inform English-speaking expats, foreign residents, second-home owners, retirees, families and visa applicants in Spain about the insurance products we distribute, and to facilitate quoting, application and policy placement.
The website is not in itself a contract of insurance. A contract of insurance is formed between the client and the relevant insurer only upon acceptance of the application by that insurer and payment of the corresponding premium.
